These two shots were taken on the beach in Goa as the sun started to set. The top image is of an old woman scavenging for recyclable products on the beach. The bottom is of a young girl selling ice cream. Both were taken while on assignment for ThingsAsian Press in November 2009.

Polo in New Delhi

Polo in New Delhi taken in November 2007 on my first assignment for ThingsAsian Press. Some of the photos from that trip are in the book To North India With Love, edited by Nabanita Dutt.

Beijing

These two shots were taken in Beijing in October 2009. My publisher at ThingsAsian Press had sent me there with author Janet Brown who wrote the popular travel books: Tone Death in Bangkok. The top picture was taken at the Summer Palace; the bottom near the lakes during a mild sandstorm.
